following grace

so, last time I wrote I wasn't exactly expecting snowpocalypse 2015 to arrive 24 hours later..   schools in the area got a free spring break in February, but those lovely people at LU.. they wanted us to suffer the struggle bus.   however we definitely reaped the benefits of living in the "south" and we've gotten quite the laughs about it too.   I've only been to one day of classes so far this week.. so I'm thankful for 2 feet of snow, and the southern shut down to allow a snow week. and an excuse to stay inside! pj's, and movies have never been more enjoyable!   this has been quite the fun week of memories.. donuts in the snow mobile, breaking in the 4WD, way too many coffee trips, ratchet outfits and so much more.   so for future's sake.. here is some of the fun we've lived out this week. coffee is necessary when you wear flats in the snow.   and for the record, fetal pig...

My mind is completely blown away when I realize that it's already been a WEEK. I have been back at this amazing place for 8 days now and no surprise it has been amazing from the moment I arrived. Last week after church I pulled away with all my life in tow. Even with my mom and Aunt following, leaving my boys behind was so much harder this time around. Monday morning we started bright and early with our week of Leadership training. My fellow prayer leaders are such amazing women of God, I am so blessed to call them my sisters in Christ and be able to serve with them this year. And as the week progressed, I started to prepare for another of my favorite Sisters to make her appearance. Our brother/ sister dorm dinners were some of the  longest hardest laughs I've ever known. I have no doubt that our leadership team was put together by the Lord himself. They bless my socks off and I am so excited for this year! And it helps ...

Holy cow. Where have I been? uploading all these pictures in one sense I felt like time flew by and the other I realized how long it has been since I blogged and realized all the fun memories we have made since I had blogged.   Since Spring Break life has been in full swing.. pretend weddings. snowcone dates with my sweet friends. Saturday morning pancakes and Jesus time. hikes to the monogram. morning people watching. baseball games by the plenty. fun memories with friends. Thursday lunch dates with Liz. weekends at camp with these 3 monkeys. and fun roadtrips to get to camp. sweet Saturdays with lifelong friends and cute kiddos.   late night study sessions at Snowflex.
