following grace

  although school has been out for about a week now it is still so fun to look back and think about all the chaos, and craziness that I survived the last few weeks of school.   it was such a wonderful ending to a wonderful year and I'm forever grateful for the memories made amidst the absolute insanity we call finals week.   So here's a little look back at some fun moments wrapping up the school year.. last day of classes. acting crazy with the roomie after cleaning our room for days on end, until it sparkled. slipping away with friends to pamper. signing the lease to MY FIRST PLACE. having our last prayer group together of the year. saying goodbye to the best English class ever. getting brave at the salon, and going for some bangs! enjoying our last convo of the year. and my last required one as a residential student. slipping away to my fav local coffee shop to hear a good word and drink...

Last night was our first college football game!! AHHHH   G O F L A M E S ! !   It was such a fun time and we WON!!   45-15   Happy football season, friends!!   -Austyn

Life lately is hectic to put it lightly. Ball season is in FULL swing, I'm working practically every day and with summer approaching fast events pop up by the thousands. I've managed to make it to one of each of my siblings games so far. As much as i keep killing myself over not being at more i am thankful for the ones i have managed to attend and i am more than excited to have a chance for some more. Wilson is playing catcher, he has been for the past few years. And although i have no pictures of Landon, she plays Catcher also. something about the cheering fans. the sweaty nasty players. toes in the dirt. joking with the umpires. watching the pep talks. it all just feels like home. and i love every bit of it. and im sure my cute bleacher buddy wouldn't testify! nothing like a late night at the ball field. wouldn't trade seeing those winning scores for ANYthing. I miss my playing days OH so mu...
