Swing batter batter swing!

Life lately is hectic to put it lightly. Ball season is in FULL swing, I'm working practically every day and with summer approaching fast events pop up by the thousands.

I've managed to make it to one of each of my siblings games so far. As much as i keep killing myself over not being at more i am thankful for the ones i have managed to attend and i am more than excited to have a chance for some more.
Wilson is playing catcher, he has been for the past few years. And although i have no pictures of Landon, she plays Catcher also.

the sweaty nasty players.

toes in the dirt.

joking with the umpires.

watching the pep talks.

it all just feels like home.


and i love every bit of it.





and im sure my cute bleacher buddy wouldn't testify!

nothing like a late night at the ball field.

wouldn't trade seeing those winning scores for ANYthing.

I miss my playing days OH so much.

I hope my wonderfully talented siblings stay in touch with their love for ball playing forever.

maybe even some college days ;)










Ball season is here and this girl's life is made. <3

Y'all. its been a while. Holy cow. I was talking with a friend this morning about life and this waiting game of a season that the Lord has me in right now. We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
