Project 365: {Week eighteen}

Between the Lines
Sometimes it's just good to stay busy. I love having time to rest and kick back to relax but staying busy keeps my mind running and off of things. And this week was no exception to the busy factor.
Sunday i kept the tradition alive by going to another school in town's musical. This year it was Footloose and it was FANTASTIC.

Monday I spent my first of many many many late nights at the ballfield. Oh how i've missed it so!

Tuesday i worked after school and we went on a nature walk, it was so precious to just walk and hear her 4 year old mind ramble and carry on conversation.
On Wednesday Aaron brought us milkshakes and hung out one last time before he deploys soon. :(

On Thursday i was back to work and we headed outdoors for some sprinkler fun. You wish your job was as cool as mine! ;)

On Friday i went shopping and to dinner with my good friend after school and got some new shoes. What girl doesn't love a new pair of shoes? ;)

And yesterday i babysat ALL day long and when i got home around 11pm Dad had waited on me so we could have dinner together <3

This week started off not so hot but it ended so wonderfully and I am thanking God that i was able to survive this week in one piece. AP exams start this week and that's my next obstacle. Prayers for peace and the wisdom to ace them! :)

Y'all. its been a while. Holy cow. I was talking with a friend this morning about life and this waiting game of a season that the Lord has me in right now. Waiting for graduation, waiting to know what the rest of my life is going to look like, waiting on contract updates and internship approvals, waiting on interviews, Creation studies to END (forever and ever amen), leases to run out, May to arrive and my next chapter to begin. We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
