Project 365: {week nineteen}

Between the Lines

Whew. this week was one of those weeks i wondered why i ever started this photo challenge. But nonetheless i took my pictures..

On Sunday me and daddy went grocery shopping. Just like the old days :)

On Monday we had a challenge at our school to live with the Mind of Christ and embrace his gifts to us. Our speaker was so awesome!

On Tuesday at work we went to the park for a few hours.

On Wednesday i babysat for this sweet family one last time before they move this week :(

On Thursday at work i held this sweet sleeping angel almost the entire time. Can't wait to rock my own one day...

On Friday after such a LONG year in AP history i took my test and goodness i think my book is ready for the dump. Yikes.

And on Saturday we went to see daddy and went to the ACC softball Championship game at Chapel Hill. Getting lost provokes lots of pictures of the beautiful scenery.

What a week! Summer's almost here! Can't even contain my excitement! ;)

Y'all. its been a while. Holy cow. I was talking with a friend this morning about life and this waiting game of a season that the Lord has me in right now. Waiting for graduation, waiting to know what the rest of my life is going to look like, waiting on contract updates and internship approvals, waiting on interviews, Creation studies to END (forever and ever amen), leases to run out, May to arrive and my next chapter to begin. He's with you. He's fighting for you, with you. Look next to you, allow yourself to sense His presence as He runs this race right beside you, pushing you on until the very end. We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
