Today was that day we all get so anxious for but yet so sad that all these Seniors are recieving their very last and final High school YEARBOOK.

And being that i'm on the crew for next year i'm very excited but i have to admit, this might just be my favorite yearbook ever.

The creativity runs wild throughout the entire book and the minor details just make it so perfect.
I love my school, the people, the teachers, the atmosphere, the family feel. It definitely holds a special place in my heart and it makes me oh so sad to be kissing it goodbye soon, even if secretly i'm ecstatic.

and my favorite part of the book has to be the "slide to succeed"
I have so much faith in our Senior class and that they will all go far in life and succeed in their wildest dreams. I am praying God will show them the direction to be a successful person in our society.

Summers nearing, and that means graduation. Seeing my best friends ad in the yearbook even though she's not here anymore made me cry but i am holding out for all the tears i know will be shed at Graduation. I have grown so close to my friends and telling them goodbye and knowing some i could never see again, breaks my heart y'all. Such a sad time, yet so exciting.

Y'all. its been a while. Holy cow. I was talking with a friend this morning about life and this waiting game of a season that the Lord has me in right now. Waiting for graduation, waiting to know what the rest of my life is going to look like, waiting on contract updates and internship approvals, waiting on interviews, Creation studies to END (forever and ever amen), leases to run out, May to arrive and my next chapter to begin. We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
