She spins and she sways..

to whatever song plays.. without a care in the world..

last weekend, my favoritest little girl who i claim as my own came to have a sleepover. I've mentioned her several times as we've had girls days in the past but spending the day with JUST her was something so special to her and so cute to experience for me. when i see her little innocent 4 year old self just a frolicking feeling like she's on top of the world in her tutu the words that come to mind are the words of Steven Curtis Chapman's song "Cinderella"

Shes such a beautiful princess in mine and God's eyes and watching her just makes me miss my childhood days of carefree fun..
we woke up Saturday morning and as i brushed my teeth i heard her giggling. i walked in to see she was sporting my nerd glasses. lol

after i tried to get halfway ready she couldn't wait any longer to sport her curls so we dolled her up with her rollers and she found this 100% fabulous tutu to wear.

Cute little roller queen. She was quick to tell me she looked like a grandma. lol a cute grandma! :)
after brushing our teeth and finishing our "makeup" {lip gloss} we undid her rollers to see our masterpiece. and what a gorgeous masterpiece did we find!
makes me so jealous i dont have LONG hair like that anymore,, my hair on a GREAT hair day wouldn't curl that perfect. boo.
when we were ready to roll out the door we took a few pictures. it was WAY early. for me anyways. like 8am i think.. so even though i look a wreck this one was my fav. :)

is she not precious? melt my heart. <3

we loaded up in the car and off we went to start our day..

we made a trip to Target. She was so presh in her tutu. All the other little girls we saw were just drooling over her tutu. So cute. cutest target shopper i've ever seen!

as we were shopping after about 20 minutes i totally realized we didn't stop for breakfast before shopping. she didn't seem to be hungry but when i mentioned chic- fil- a her eyes got as big as basketballs. magic.
we got our biscuits and we sat and enjoyed a nice little conversation and sang to K-LOVE. Between the hour i get to spend with her on Sundays in Sunday school i don't ever get to just sit and talk with her so it was nice to be able to hear all she had to say. and she had lots. :)

after our biscuits it took us FOREVER to decide where to head. i suggested the park, she wasn't liking that idea but when i mentioned we could swing she was ALL about it. so after visiting two parks she didnt want to play at, we found the perfect park for the princess. {one with no other guests, if you must know.}

So spoiled. :)
she raced down all the slides in her princess stature. Such a doll.

I told her she was a TRUE princess climbing the bridge to make it to her castle in a tutu. hehe

now let me tell you trying to snap pictures and push a princess is NOT the easiest task.. but catching these priceless smiles.. SO worth it!
after the park we headed to a cute boutique which much to our dismay was closed for the day. She was heartbroken but when i told her we would go home and take pictures in her tutu she was immediately joyous again. :)

goodness. how could you not want to take her home. I would keep her forever if her momma would let me.

oh her beauty just shines through and through. Ahhhh <3

this HAS to be my favoritest shot of the day. love love love itt.

Oh my sweet Braelynn, if only you knew how much you meant to me. You are the princess i've always wanted. the time we share together just melts me. Your precious smile, your hilarious convos, your sweet gestures to love on me, all of it just melts me.

you give me a true testing for parenthood, and although im not QUITE ready at the moment, one day i hope i will have a daughter half as great as you! maybe i'll even let you have sleepovers and girls days with her as i do with you! ;)

My princess, how i love you soo!! thank you SO much for spending time with me. I will forever cherish our days and moments together!

-Austyn :)
