When my dear friend Erica found out I was coming into town, she insisted I take her pictures. Now i won't say im anything spectacular, but she is sold that I am, so of course I agreed to help.   I think they turned out amazing and her boyfriend Brandon even joined us for some.   -Austyn

Lately, Im just soaking up spring time. I LOVE Spring, it has to be my favorite season. Not too hot, not too cold, the breeze is amazing and God's creation just grows more gorgeous by the hour.   Today i got home from church and noticed this beautiful tree that i parked underneath. I started to think about how its like us, as christians. At first, we are bare, and fruitless. We get saved and begin to blossom and change. and those old leaves we had, are no longer and we get brand new leaves and new bloom. We become beautiful and full of God and his love, and are made new through the blood of Christ. I'd love to think Im as beautiful inside with Christ, as this flower blooming in Spring.   But sometimes, I feel as if the things I do make me look ugly and dead.   I want to be ALIVE and blossoming with Christ.   Once we are in Christ, we are made new. the old has gone and the new is to come. our past, is erased and we are clean...

Resurrection Rolls.

For years, I've read the blogs, searched Pinterest and just always slacked on Easter activities.   So this year, since it was Landon's birthday, I got up and went to work. Ive heard about these FOREVER, and will definitely do them again! this is all you need. simple enough right? lay your crescent rolls out on your baking sheet. roll your marshmellows, in your butter {already melted} when completely coated, roll them in the cinnamon and sugar. wrap em up and place them to bake.   I know you're thinking. "wait, how'd she do that?" lemme show you. place your marshmellow on the crescent roll.. roll it up and pinch the sides. set to bake follow your crescent rolls baking instructions. wah-la! they look amazing and taste the same! ;)   Enjoy!   -Austyn
