Resurrection Rolls.

For years, I've read the blogs, searched Pinterest and just always slacked on Easter activities.
 
So this year, since it was Landon's birthday, I got up and went to work.
Ive heard about these FOREVER, and will definitely do them again!
this is all you need. simple enough right?


lay your crescent rolls out on your baking sheet.


roll your marshmellows, in your butter
{already melted}


when completely coated, roll them in the cinnamon and sugar.

wrap em up and place them to bake.
 
I know you're thinking.
"wait, how'd she do that?"
lemme show you.

place your marshmellow on the crescent roll..

roll it up and pinch the sides.

set to bake
follow your crescent rolls baking instructions.

wah-la!


they look amazing
and taste the same! ;)

We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
