Thankful.

Image
Thankful for an incredible abundance of blessings today and everyday.. My cup overflows!   "Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth. Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before Him with joyful singing. Know that the Lord himself is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with thanksgiving And his courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name. For the Lord is good; His lovingkindness is everlasting And his faithfulness to all generations."   Psalm 100     The Lord is so amazingly gracious to allow me such sweet people to call mine.   So thankful for the opportunity to come home to such a wonderful mix of people.   So So Thankful.   May we live lives of Thanks, daily. The Lord is so great, to be praised.   So honored and privileged to have so many things given to me to be t...

Fall is my FAV!

Nothing suits my Sunday better than a good morning at church and an afternoon of fun at the Orchard.   Bro/ Sis events are so fun!       SO grateful for wonderful friends who walk this path of life by my side. I don't know what I'd do without them.   -Austyn

Saturday Savoring.

this weekend, was Parents weekend.   My Momma and Grandma made a last minute day trip to see me.   As much as I LOVE living my little life at LU, it was so nice for a taste of home. and makes me so excited for Thanksgiving. I missed them.   we had such a fun time eating downtown, shopping and just spending time together.   and I may have shed a few tears as they pulled away. little touches of home, make breaks so much more sweeter.   -Austyn

Color Me 4 Life!

Image
This past Saturday, some of my friends and I got the chance to run the Color run, for a local pregnancy center I was involved with last year.   It was so fun to raise money and run for such an amazing ministry, that the Lord is blessing left and right.   So many young women, and their babies lives are being saved as they walk through the doors of the PC and hear the gospel and are helped in the most desperate of situations.   #fortyandfreetobecolorful   these jello legs were so worth the fun! ;)   -Austyn

Fall Break Fun!

Image
4 days of rest and relaxation from school was SO perfect in the middle of a stressful few weeks.   I headed to NC for the weekend and spent some time with my friend from camp, Megan.   It was the best 4 days of my year. So nice to break away. Not to mention, waking up to this gorgeous view, Jesus time on the beach, and memories with Meg.     So thankful for a few days of no classes, sleeping in and just forgetting the world. May have to invest in a beach break every few months, for the sake of sanity! ;)   -Austyn

Wow. Long time no see. Life has been crazy, chaotic, fun, thrilling and absolutely fabulous. Sophomore year is about 1/3 over and somedays that's a hard fact to swallow.   I so miss blogging, and keeping up with my little life on the web. However, when I lay in bed at night after a normal day I realize there wasn't even an extra 10 minutes that couldve been used for blogging. So I'm taking some time tonight on this precious Sunday, to play catch up!     Oh, and I cut my hair off. Surprise ;) Alright, so here we go!   -Austyn

Sisters of the Square.

This year I have been privileged with an amazing opportunity to serve as a prayer leader on my hall with some of the most incredible young women I have ever met. They continually bless me, and they deserve their beautiful faces on the ole blog. :) The Lord is going to do some incredible things with these ladies and our hall this year I can't wait to see it happen! They're gorgeous, and I love all of them so dearly. There's no mistake the Lord has us all here for a reason. Join me in praying that he would reveal himself and move mountains on our hall this year. We're ready! -Austyn

Prospering in HIS Purpose.

Y'all. I really never thought that my 2nd day of classes would even come close to looking like it has.   Between dropped classes, overwhelming work loads, dead cars and everything in between; its been quite the adventure.   But y'all, the Lord is so so gracious in allowing me to recognize that this is not anything like what it could be. A dead car is the least of my problems.   Even in the midst of my mental breakdowns and over abundant stressing, he is good. oh he is real good.   He is so so loving and uses these "trials" and bumps in the road to allow us to recognize the radiance of his glory and rest in his lavishing love, that he is always sovereign.   I am so blessed that he values me so much, and trusts me with such chaos that he would choose me to suffer, so that he can be brought glory.   What an honor. A crazy weird honor.   I am such a worrier by nature, but knowing that he is in co...

Sophomore, so far!

My mind is completely blown away when I realize that it's already been a WEEK. I have been back at this amazing place for 8 days now and no surprise it has been amazing from the moment I arrived. Last week after church I pulled away with all my life in tow. Even with my mom and Aunt following, leaving my boys behind was so much harder this time around. Monday morning we started bright and early with our week of Leadership training. My fellow prayer leaders are such amazing women of God, I am so blessed to call them my sisters in Christ and be able to serve with them this year. And as the week progressed, I started to prepare for another of my favorite Sisters to make her appearance. Our brother/ sister dorm dinners were some of the  longest hardest laughs I've ever known. I have no doubt that our leadership team was put together by the Lord himself. They bless my socks off and I am so excited for this year! And it helps ...
