Project 365 {week three}

that time again... Project 365 time!! :)

On Sunday one of my favoritest ladies on the planet who went to our church for years and recently moved away, came back to visit and join us at our Youth Chili Cook off! SO good to see her!

On Monday after spending Sunday night with a family friend I went to work with her. She works at a Prom Dress shop and Marilyn and me stared at each other all day!

On Tuesday i started my week of Full days with my kindergarteners. And this sweetie continued to steal my heart.

On Wednesday my Alabama Champions shirt came in the mail and i proudly wore it to youth! :)

On Thursday since dad's away for work Mom took us kids to dinner and we had a family movie night. By far the BEST movie I've ever seen!

On Friday i said goodbye to my kindergarteners and their teacher who I've become such good pals with over the last few weeks!

And on Saturday night since Dad is home for the weekend he took us out to our favorite local home cooking restaraunt! So yummy!!

Well, that was my week. Pretty non exciting but still fun! Haven't been to school in 11 days. Itching so bad to go back on Wednesday! Ready for new classes! :)

Y'all. its been a while. Holy cow. I was talking with a friend this morning about life and this waiting game of a season that the Lord has me in right now. Waiting for graduation, waiting to know what the rest of my life is going to look like, waiting on contract updates and internship approvals, waiting on interviews, Creation studies to END (forever and ever amen), leases to run out, May to arrive and my next chapter to begin. We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
