following grace

  Last Thursday i woke up bright and early to start my SENIOR year at my new school. I couldn't have been more excited to be back with all my friends and Sunday School buddies and to be a SENIOR! It was pretty rough the 1st day getting adjusted to all the differences and what an overwhelming mess it was. But the days following were something spectacular.   and this morning all my little love bugs got up bright and early with me to get ready for their 1st day of school!   okay maybe not so excited..   They all had FABULOUS days. And the stories have made me roll over laughing. What a precious day it was! And a fabulous school year to come!!   -Austyn :)

boxes were the perfect entertainment for hours on end.. hide and seek. spaceships. or just a place to rest your tired feet. and provide endless fun.   Well we're remembering that! ;)   -Austyn

Fragile things are proven to be unbroken. Moving boxes are stacked to the roof. Cabinets are being emptied. School supplies are being organized. Schedules are being clarified. boxes unpacked. Hope is being given. goodwill finds are being found. good books are being read. and closets are being organized.   What a life!   -Austyn :)

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
