Halloween 2012

With it being my last Halloween, i kind of had a little last hoo-rah. I didnt get any pictures of the kids because i went off and did my own thing, and when i go to college they won't be starring all the time on the ole blog anyways ;)
 
I dressed as a cowgirl for our Down on the Farm theme for our trucks at Trunk or Treat for the church.




Me and My precious friend Lauren had such a fun time running the youth trucks. Between tracks and candy, we got a bit crazy at times but it was so worth it!

 
My precious Sarah Jane and her sister Savannah came by to see us first! :)

Oh Steve, you and your hot chocolate are something serious!


Our Youth Pastor, has to be one of the greatest people alive!
He is truly one of my favoritest people!






 
We had such a fun night, and i wish i wouldve gotten a picture of all the Senior Boys dressed up as animals. Too precious!

Y'all. its been a while. Holy cow. I was talking with a friend this morning about life and this waiting game of a season that the Lord has me in right now. Waiting for graduation, waiting to know what the rest of my life is going to look like, waiting on contract updates and internship approvals, waiting on interviews, Creation studies to END (forever and ever amen), leases to run out, May to arrive and my next chapter to begin. We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
