Hearts On Fire 2012

A few weeks ago i had such an awesome oppurtunity to go to TN for an amazing conference, in which my own youth pastor will be leading in the Spring in SC.

We started off our weekend with a LONG trip late into the night and getting in the hotel at 1am after the 1st session and our pizza dinner. 
The next morning we got up bright and early to have a delightful breakfast.
The Log Cabin is definitely a MUST by me!

It was so cute and quaint and had FABULOUS food!

Downtown Gatlinburg was just so precious. Exactly like where i want to live one day.

There was so much going on, and people everywhere!




That morning after walking around and having breakfast we went to hear Clayton King speak. He was incredible!!


After our morning session we did some more shopping..


and packed up our things at the Four Seasons Motor Lodge!

What a fabulous group of shoppers we had!

That afternoon we had more worship and a concert from Casting Crowns and Josh Wilson!!











What a fabulous weekend!

Y'all. its been a while. Holy cow. I was talking with a friend this morning about life and this waiting game of a season that the Lord has me in right now. We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
