Chris Tomlin.

y'all. not that i took these pictures in November or anything like that..
 
38 days later, i have Chris Tomlin Concert pics. and today as i sat to force myself to finish them, i deleted over half of them. Im tellin ya, there is just not the motivation to edit pictures and blog all day like there used to be. Life is crazy and getting home at 7pm at the earliest every night after leaving 12 hours earlier, i am certainly not thinking about editing pictures and blogging them, IF the camera even makes it out of the drawer once in a blue moon.
 
But low and behold...
 
We had such a precious time! I just love christian concerts, because truly its just a huge worship session. And i will not be afraid to admit that i love to worship and sometimes i do go to the church service again JUST to sing the songs a 2nd time, cuz thats how I roll.
 







looking up into my eye level view and seeing MILLIONS of hands just lifted in praise, i almost cried. It was so amazing and you could just feel God's presence vibrating off the walls of that colesium.
 
and we managed to have a pretty stinkin good time!


 
now, whew. took me a month but i have successfully journaled Chris Tomlin. Don't hate y'all ;)

Y'all. its been a while. Holy cow. I was talking with a friend this morning about life and this waiting game of a season that the Lord has me in right now. We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
