CHRISTmas 2012!

y'all Christmas was almost a week ago, and i haven't even touched my computer in over a week. You'll see why later on. {thanks Apple ;}
 
Our christmas was so splendid this year.
I think it might have been my favorite Christmas ever.
With me working and things crazy lately, it was soooo dreamy to just sit and enjoy time with each other all day long.
like two days before Christmas me and Stevie did our best to whip some decor up and decorate our fabulous smelling tree.

Stephen was sooo wonderful at being enthusiastic. And despite my aggervation of his 40 ornaments on 2 limbs, he didnt give up too quickly and we made a good team!











hilariously enough, my grandparents gave this to my mom forever ago when she was preggo with i think my brother. Every year i hang it up. I just love it.
and that fashion. woo! totally stylin!


and it was so precious to share with Stephen that when we got this ornament we were waiting to bring him home, and this year we have a new home. Exactly 6 years later. :)

and it would not be Christmas without some Christmas parties.
a new outfit was so in order.

i was so so SO incredibly blessed. i really went for more practical things on my wish list. and i am so excited to hopefully make them all last for college.





 
and even though im excited about my precious sweatshirt, this was the last puppy we hadn't sold and he left us the next day. it is so weird not hearing squeals at 4am of precious pups wanting to play.

Christmas morning i was up at 4am. no worries, i DID go back to sleep. But Santa sure had stopped by.

Landon an iPhone

Poor Stephen just wanted lots of toys.

and i got my beloved iPad. and i couldnt be more excited.


 
my picture taking this year, lacked greatly.
 
but being able to spend time with family and not worry over pictures was simply delightful.

We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
