For weeks we've awaited the special night where we could go out with our teacher and the 3 of us close knit friends and just have some girl time. When we realized Abby's birthday was the perfect chance we all knew it would be a blast. And y'all it was SO much fun. Tonight was the night, and we totally had a ball. We bowled, and God love us, we're never gonna be pro's but we had fun anyways. y'all I actually won, and stayed in the lead for a solid 20 minutes. Had to record this. I never win, especially never at bowling. After such a blast bowling, we headed out for a yummy dinner. Complete with the Birthday girl dancing on the saddle with all the waiters and waitresses. Too too funny!   after all our crazy fun, we went home to have cake. Because you only turn 18 once! We've been talking at church lately, about making the Immeasurably more Influence. Our Youth Pastor has been challenging us to just love God's people. To show them that God is love, and we as his children should pour out his love to others.   Coincidentally, me and a good friend have really been having some serious in depth conversations about the same thing..   How to love those who hurt us. How to be kind, when you feel like your losing the battle. How to be strong.   But the truth is, making an impact for Christ, starts with Love. And Compassion.   Being compassionate, makes my heart swell. I love loving people.   "And God i just want to love on EVERYone, and all i have is YOURS to give so let the people come" Those lyrics. I've really been toddling on Obedience lately.   So many things are happening all at once, and i just want to make sure I'm obedient to Christ and his will for my life.   God calls us to crazy things, crazy places and at the craziest times. but sometimes, we just brush it off. and say "oh no, god. next time i'll do what you ask, next time"   With college coming up i have just really been persistent in prayer about obedience.   God if you call me to the slums of Africa and tell me to live there and love on those who don't have love. I'll go   If you call me to go to college and get a degree and help your people here. I will.   If you call me to be friends with someone i dont particularly want to be friends with. 2013 already has been such a blessing. I am just overwhelmed by God's continued faithfulness. in less than 5 months, i will walk the stage and start my journey to forever. and until then, im just savoring every single second of pure bliss. This is THE greatest time of my life, and i dont wanna miss it, any of it. Starting 2013 with a suprise visit from my BFF, was too too awesome. taking the little time im not working, to spend time with this precious prince, is pure bliss. and seeing his face light up when i offer to play a game with him. Makes a big sissy feel special!
