Compassion.

We've been talking at church lately, about making the Immeasurably more Influence.
Our Youth Pastor has been challenging us to just love God's people. To show them that God is love, and we as his children should pour out his love to others.
 
Coincidentally, me and a good friend have really been having some serious in depth conversations about the same thing..
 
How to love those who hurt us.
How to be kind, when you feel like your losing the battle.
How to be strong.
 
But the truth is, making an impact for Christ, starts with Love.
And Compassion.
 
Being compassionate, makes my heart swell.
I love loving people.
 
"And God i just want to love on EVERYone, and all i have is YOURS to give so let the people come"
Those lyrics. Speak Worlds.
 
Our God is one of Love.
As his children, we should strive so hard to love everyone just as he loves us, afterall how are they gonna see his love if we don't share it.
 
So next time you come across someone, just love them.
Show compassion.
 
Let them see the light in you, the Light of the Savior.
 
So go! Now! Go love!

Y'all. its been a while. Holy cow. I was talking with a friend this morning about life and this waiting game of a season that the Lord has me in right now. We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
