Who would've known that when everyone told us last August, this year will FLY..
They were SERIOUS!
Typing this I still get teary eyed.
This year has been such a great roller coaster. There have been moments I thought I'd never make it, and moments I was so ready to be done I just couldnt take it.
I am so thankful for so many fun memories and even not so fun ones.
This year was probably the greatest of my life, and I never wanna forget the impact these people and my school made on me.
Moving my Senior Year wasn't the easiest thing ever, but the trade off was SO worth it.
 
And so now, as you all waited 13 years for..
 












I made it, and it's time to celebrate!
 
Thank you to everyone who has sent well wishes, gifts and came to support me!

Y'all. its been a while. Holy cow. I was talking with a friend this morning about life and this waiting game of a season that the Lord has me in right now. Waiting for graduation, waiting to know what the rest of my life is going to look like, waiting on contract updates and internship approvals, waiting on interviews, Creation studies to END (forever and ever amen), leases to run out, May to arrive and my next chapter to begin. The whole while I was sitting there discussing the frustration yet Hope that I had in this season I just kept replaying the lyrics to one of my favorite songs "Take courage my heart, stay steadfast my soul He's IN the waiting" He's there friends. We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
