those days..

do you ever just have those seasons

 

you know exactly what I'm talking about

the house is a mess

you put away your laundry just in time to

pull another load out of the dryer

and have it sitting on your bed for a week

you bought groceries a month ago but

you just end up eating out because there's no

time for coming home and cooking

meal prep seems impossible

work hours double by the week

homework never ends

people see you and your house and they're like

who are you?

house hunting consumes all your free time

you're out of town or have visitors every weekend

your not even sure if you've worn the same outfit

3 times in the last two weeks

 

 

y'all. im there.

and life's insane

and I forget what day it is

and I get home at night and I'm asking

myself what in the world even happened today

 

but there is one thing that remains so so

constant in this season of chaos.

and it's the peace that passes all understanding.

the Lord's faithfulness has absolutely overwhelmed me.

His ability to provide

His ability to allow me to have joy through every trial.

 

His unfailing love and

His grace that covers me.

 

it's all I can think about.

and it's the only thing getting me through.

 

so when life's crazy,

and your house is a mess

and your mind is on mars

just remember

His grace is enough.

He WILL carry you through

and it is all joy

for the testing of our faith produces

perseverance.
