Eight-teen.

My 18th was one for the books.
 
I mean I know being legal is fun, but I think the fun I had was a whole new level.
 
Since I went home for my birthday the night before a bunch of my fav girls from my hall, and Abby went to dinner.
We had such a blast!

 
And on my actual birthday my alarm woke me up with this picture. Pretty stinkin cute, I think. ;)
 
My phone had been blowing up for hours, and I saw one of my kinders from last year's mom had posted a picture and tagged me, so this was the first thing I saw upon waking up.

Seriously, if that doesn't make you crack a smile, you're crazy.
It made my entire day!
 
I started my day off by having my fav kind of pop-tart. Because whats a birthday without fun breakfast?


I picked my outfit out a week in advance, for those of you that know me, this is nothing new. ;)
 
I went to my favorite class, and took a test.
 
and then came to the office to get my cake and balloon.
Seriously love this place, and the home they provide away from home.

 
Then I hit the road for home..
 
That night I got Rai from the airport and spent the night with her, and we had dinner.
 
 
And since im an awful child, and wasn't spending my birthday at home, I had to stop by and hug my lovies.

I don't think she was excited..

 
I even had to wake up my love bug to hug him tight and let him know I made it, since I had heard he danced around the house for a week singing about me coming home and how excited he was.
Bless him.

 
after sleeping until lunch time. Say what?!
Me and Rai grabbed lunch and went to my old school to visit my babies and see my teachers.
You may leave Metro, but it doesn't leave you.

Walking down the hall to go see someone, I caught sight of this girl, and when she saw me she BUSTED out of line and ran into my arms. I could've cried. So so miss my EEC babies.
 
That night we had our family birthday dinner, Since Dad's birthday was on Sunday.

my sweet boy was OVER the moon about sitting next to me.
Cant say I argued. ;)



it was so nice to be around the table with family once again, after months apart.
{with camp, and all}
 
On Saturday I shopped alone {so so great} after sleeping in, and had dinner with my sweet Mickey.
 
On Sunday, I headed to church bright and early

got my new phone case
and then had lunch with more family at my fav place in town.
 
It was the perfect weekend, but that didn't stop the party.
 
On Monday I got to see my sweet friend, that I missed so much after a few days apart
 
And I got to wear my new outfit.
Preppy princess? ;)

 
and yesterday I got to see my sweet hall girls
and iOS 7 came out!
 
its been a great birthday {week}
 
And today is loads more of fun,
more on that later. ;)

We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
