Wait, It's October?

Im pretty sure when I woke up this morning and realized it was October, I about had a heart attack.
Where has the time gone?
 
Tomorrow starts fall break, Im going HOME
thank you Jesus!!
 
But first let me catch you up on life at Liberty..
For me and my prayer leaders birthdays, we decided to get fish, and we went together.
Edmond and Garner are the darling-est glub glubs around!
 
Back in late September my precious Children of the World choir came to LU to sing and do a concert.
It made my heart oh so happy after so many years apart.

I experienced my first Hockey game
And almost got nailed in the face with a HUGE puck
Thank you kind Liberty gentlemen for catching it an inch before my forehead did.

After the hockey game we went out for dessert,
where me and Abby had our first cinnamon sensation.
and OH was it Sensational!

We found a church we really like and have been going to.
Typically its the 3 of us musketeers that venture together.
 
Many lunches and study dates with this girl!

even a day to myself, which was MUCH needed.
Thank you 5 hour break between classes.

The Duck Commander himself came for a visit!

Two of my sweet camp friends came to LU for the weekend
and we attended the Crowder Concert.
Which was
AMAZING.
 
I got to spend the day downtown with this lovely lady!



and we ventured to the mountain.
So lovely to worship at the foot of the cross, looking out into the entire city.
God never fails to bring me to my knees in awe of him.

We attended another fabulous football game!
 
Monday mornings start early, so sometimes I just have to relax.
 
and today is my precious friend Brittany's birthday!
We're off to dinner to celebrate college style.
 
 
What a crazy few weeks its been.
I hope everyone has a fabulous week/ weekend!
Home bound it is for me!

Y'all. its been a while. Holy cow. I was talking with a friend this morning about life and this waiting game of a season that the Lord has me in right now. Waiting for graduation, waiting to know what the rest of my life is going to look like, waiting on contract updates and internship approvals, waiting on interviews, Creation studies to END (forever and ever amen), leases to run out, May to arrive and my next chapter to begin. We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
