Fall Fun!

Fall,
is my favorite!
 
I love all things cold, leaves changing, hot cocoa with big colorful marshmellows, friends, fires, and fellowship, big cute scarves, boots, pumpkins, hay rides, all of it I just love it.
 
Fall in college is all the more fun, because you have unlimited activities and plenty of awesome people to do them with.
Bonfires and smores last weekend for homecoming.

Late night coffee house visits with your entire hall and brother dorm.
Makes for good games of Scrabble and many laughs.

Y'all. its been a while. Holy cow. I was talking with a friend this morning about life and this waiting game of a season that the Lord has me in right now. Waiting for graduation, waiting to know what the rest of my life is going to look like, waiting on contract updates and internship approvals, waiting on interviews, Creation studies to END (forever and ever amen), leases to run out, May to arrive and my next chapter to begin. We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
