Without Borders.

Currently, the words of my new favorite song by Hillsong, speak volumes.
 
Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders
Let me walk upon the waters wherever you would call me
Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander
and my faith will be made stronger in the presence of my Savior
 
 
God and I, lately we've been having lots of chats.
and he's teaching me lots.
 
But I just cant stop thinking about those lyrics.
My faith to be made stronger, in the presence of my Savior.
Deeper than my feet could ever wander.
 
ONLY God can do that.
Only he can take me;
a hot mess.
and take me to a new level of trusting him
to see him in a whole new perspective.
to walk the waters that only he could call me to.
 
What an amazing gig to get in on.
 
I just can't stop praying that over myself, and my walk with him.
that it would be made stronger in his presence, and that he would take me on walks on the paths of life that I could never stumble upon on my own.
 
He is molding me so much lately, and I can't wait to see where he takes me next.

Y'all. its been a while. Holy cow. I was talking with a friend this morning about life and this waiting game of a season that the Lord has me in right now. Waiting for graduation, waiting to know what the rest of my life is going to look like, waiting on contract updates and internship approvals, waiting on interviews, Creation studies to END (forever and ever amen), leases to run out, May to arrive and my next chapter to begin. We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
