Augustin Party of TWO!

 
Months ago my sweet bestie informed me that she had met "the one"
I was instantly thrilled for her, and then suddenly wondering
how in the world I was old enough to have a friend who
was getting married!
 
Weeks later I arrived home one day to find a cute package from the Bride
asking me to be one of her bridesmaids.
Honored, of course I said yes!
 
Last week after a crazy summer at camp, I road tripped to
attend a sweet bridal shower for the beautiful bride!
It was such a sweet reunion after almost 2 years without
my girls!



 
after tripping back to the lake and then back to Jville on Thursday
Friday was the long awaited start to a weekend of wedded bliss.
 
 

was so blessed to be able to stay with Gabba and her lovely family.
It was so needed to catch up, 2 years is a lot to catch up on! ;)

Y'all. its been a while. Holy cow. I was talking with a friend this morning about life and this waiting game of a season that the Lord has me in right now. We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
