there's a whole in the bottom of the sea..

oh wait sorry, wrong words..

there's a HOLE in this little munchkin's mouth.
all of these pictures are terrible.. you got the pizza sauce, the closed eyes, the giant t-rex looking face.. ahh well, you get what you get. and the purpose is to document.

for WEEKS stephen has been trying to pull this one tooth out. after trying and trying and trying and trying until we just about gave up the other night when he went to eat an apple before dinner he screamed at my mom "MOM, there's blood on my apple!" she knew right away what had happened..
and not only did the one fall out, but TWO came out. and of course the school pictures were the next day. How adorable. We will never forget this little 1st grader with a hole the size of China in his mouth. Cutie patootie!


and what a PROUD toothless cutie is he!

We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
