LONG time. NO blog.
Alright alright i winn, blog slacker awardd.
We've been CUH-RAY-ZEE. so blogging= not a worry in the world.

But nonetheless,, im back with LOTS to blog and ample time {not really} to do so..

Last weekend our sweet Blonde boy had his first football game for the local Pee Wee division. It just happened to be a tournament and in my grandparents town so we roadtripped to watch them play.







My crazy "brother from another mother" decided he was designated air horn blower..
touchdown= LOUD blow of the horn
Pass= LOUD blow of the horn
Bored and tired of austyn taking pictures= LOUD blow of the hornn.

you get the picture.. literally. ;) hehe

It was my birthday weekend so our family gladly came in town to watch the game and celebrate! :)

The boys played a HARD game and they did a GREAT job!

VICTORY!! And privelege of playing with the Carolina Panthers during half time in a few weeks! Way to go boys!

Y'all. its been a while. Holy cow. I was talking with a friend this morning about life and this waiting game of a season that the Lord has me in right now. We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
