Christmas 2011

Is Christmas really over? holy cow. Our Christmas was fabulous. We’ve been trying to get in the Christmas spirit since Thanksgiving and I think we finally did about 2 days before, me anyways. I was feeling a tad on the Grinch side this year. And I was really a photo taking slacker. So here’s what I do have..

a few weeks after Thanksgiving we decorated {Mom did} with our new stockings and christmas pretties.

we sipped hot coca with fruit flavored marshmellows and hung our sentimental ornaments..

We might have even tried to try a stocking photoshoot with the pup. She was too big. :(

then fast forward to christmas eve.. all the adults were shopping and the kids were going crazy we opted for Cici’s  {their choice}, a trip to Target to browse and some redbox movies. Pays to have my license!

when did me and that “little” cousin get so big?! Are we seriously in high school. Mercy.

We always do a HUGE Christmas Eve meal. Before dinner we took a few pictures knowing we wouldn’t get another chance. :)

then we my cousin Ethan read the Christmas story out of Luke with my super dooper great FCA bible. :)

Then we opened a few presents from the Grandparents, Too Too and one or two from Mom and Dad.

Watching Stephen get SO excited over every present made my heart swell. If only we all had that much joy! <3

Wilson was Mr. Electronic this year. and hilariously enough all his presents correlated with his Tablet from Santa.

And I got a HUGE Bath and Body Works basket from Too Too, that she made herself. I do love some lotion and smell goods. :)

Gram got a beautiful Cross necklace.

I got some New Running shorts so I can run with swag. ;)

After years of wanting one I finally suckered in and got my CHI. and a radio for the shower. lol

Landon got her beloved Tornado Phyten. and Stephen a NERF DS case. Cool dude!

Santa was good to us this year. The kids were up at 3am. SAY WHAT!? They woke me up at 4. I ran downstairs snapped pics and quickly went back to bed. We all slept in until about 9am. We’ve NEVER slept past 5am in previous years.. I think we were tired? lol

After digging through our Santa stacks and tearing up our stockings we opened presents.

Wilson was SO excited for his Florida hoodie and Stephen who is OBSESSED with Transformers and all things cars was totally in love with his fire truck transformers. {I forgot the name. lol}

E-man got plastic coal. And I was just enjoying my sweet Christmas Morning no make-up snuggles.

Me and landon both straightened our hair before coming downstairs to avoid crazy hair pictures. HA

Stephen was walking around defeating the robots, he decided to be sweet to momma. maybe all that caramel popcorn for breakfast got to him? lol

After like 3 years I finally got a Pea Coat, Actually two. And Stephen got another scooter. Every year he gets one because they always break or get stolen. He LOVES his scooters.

Stephen’s chore is the recyclables. he always lines them up at the front door before taking them out and rolls stuff into them like bowling. So the rents decided maybe real pins and balls would be more fun. lol

My mom has a friend who makes scripture jewlrey. I was in a biblestudy group forever called “The Guard Your Heart Girls” Our beloved biblestudy leader moved away so we don’t get together anymore. But my precious mother got me a bracelet for Proverbs 4:23 “Above all else Guard Your Heart for it is the WellSpring of life” Love it. <3

I kept skipping my turn to take pictures so I would look down and Stephen would point and Say “Austyn would you just take your turn already!”

I got some AWESOME running shoes. I picked them out last week and I could NOT wait to have them. I wore them shopping yesterday. Never ever wear tennis shoes but they’re just too cool.

Ethan got the original Bop It as a joke and Stephen finally got Transformers 3, the movie after renting it on Redbox 309730839 times and watching Transformers 2 at least once a day for the past 6 months. {Could you tell I have brothers? lol}

Ethan got a hilarious Chuck Norris book and Stephen got right to playing his New DS games.

We had a wonderful Christmas. After my grandparents left we all played with our toys, I set up my webcam, etc. I got to skype one of my very good friends Ashton all the way in CHINA. Pretty cool christmas present if you ask me. and her sister, PRECIOUS!! then Mom, my aunt and I all napped and around 7:30pm they woke me up telling me to get ready for our annual Christmas Waffle House dinner. It was yummy and we even got to chow down with the local Homeless man. Iso wanted to buy his dinner and bless him on Christmas but they feed him a few times a day for cleaning up the bathrooms, etc.

when I got home my sweet friend Sarah and me got on oovoo. It was so good to be able to wish one of my best friends a Merry Christmas. I have been missing all my school friends. So excited to get to hang out with some of them throughout this week. :)

Alright. Did I really just accomplish that 9 mile long post. Gravy. Well Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I’ll be back soon. :)
