Okay, definitely not. but maybe one day.. in the not so possible future.

Today Yesterday we went for our what seems to be annual Christmas Break trip to the local Ice Skating Rink. Stephen opted out so I designated myself as mom’s talking buddy/ photographer. lol Landon brought her friend Zoe and Wilson, his friend Will.

We had a great fun long day at the Ice skating rink and doing some shopping afterwards. :)

I can honestly say I miss school but I am SO not ready to go back to the world of cramming last minute studying, essays due, etc. But I am VERY excited about starting musical practice and my internship in a kindergarten classroom. As I grow older my dream of teaching becomes more and more surreal. Hopefully this will make it more of a reality.

Not sure why it’s 1am and I’m wide awake.. but Enjoy the rest of your week :)

Y'all. its been a while. Holy cow. I was talking with a friend this morning about life and this waiting game of a season that the Lord has me in right now. We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
