GOTCHA!

4 years ago yesterday my parents held this little boy in there arms for the very last time in the orphanage in South Korea. Alot has changed since that very day.

Today after we got home from school we did our homework quickly and took our little munchkin to get a haircut and pick out his annual Gotcha Day ornament for the tree. :)

After church we all went out to a special dinner per our little man's request. I guess 2 years of Chicken and Rice finally got tiring. lol

We pulled out his Green Card and all marveled over how little he was and how stinkin cute he is!
Our super Nice waitress was all excited about his special day and asked him exactly what he wanted on his Sunday. Such a little spoiled rotten boy!

We had a wonderful day celebrating our little prince!

We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
