Northside vs. Austrailia

This past Tuesday we had our 2nd annual game against a travel basketball team from Austrailia. Last year we had SO much fun with the Aussies that this year we just couldn't contain ourselves when they came back. The games were SO good and So intense. Kept us on our toes.
my bestie gabby is on the varsity girls team so i came to watch her game and some of the boys before having to be home.


When we saw this on the scoreboard we were SO happy, sadly the aussies gained some points and we lost. but the varsity boys won by a LANDSLIDE.



I went with my friends Hannah and Aolani.

And Mallory joined us. :)

the boys were so fun to watch.

especially with my favorite basketball star to sit with.

And the Broncos lover was there in support for Gabby so we all got to sit and enjoy the boys game.

Such an awesome experience and so fun to watch!

Y'all. its been a while. Holy cow. I was talking with a friend this morning about life and this waiting game of a season that the Lord has me in right now. We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
