No Service? No problem.

6 days of no service, no wifi, temperature in the 50's and nearest town 30 minutes away?
You would of thought we'd have died.

From the moment we started to pack we were giddy with excitement. We all loaded up after church and jumped in the truck, crammed like sardines and totally laughing at the amount of "stuff" we'd brought for only a week. You wouldve thought we were moving in, but with college around the corner, i feel like everywhere I go I'm moving in.

We arrived, ate dinner and watched a few shoes before calling it a night but the next morning was fast to the fun.

While the girls slept in, I jumped up and went for a run just as the sun was coming up, and I dont think I've ever seen anything more heavenly. Even the neighborhood dogs joined me in my glorious event. {although probably not that glorious from their view, Yikes}
Coming home to the smells of breakfast and going outside and cracking open the word of the Creator, was something out of a dream.
Sleeping in, running, breakfast made for me and time to read God's word?
What a miracle.
I opened right up to Titus, where God laid a very significant verse on my heart. more on that some other time! ;)

There was something about waking up every morning and just walking outside to enjoy the crisp breeze and beautiful ray of sun.

and I have to admit, wearing sweatshirts and comfy clothes as we like to call them, was pretty amazing.

I couldnt've picked a better group of girls to go with.

Our house was beyond beautiful. With each room in perfect design and even the windows perfectly aligned with the sunrise.

We watched movie after movie after movie after movie, and not one of us ever stopped to complain.

We soaked up hours and HOURS of Nicholas Sparks, Glee, too many chick flicks and maybe even a little Princess Diaries.

The weather was amazingly beautiful and for someone who hates being outside, you should all be amazed I stuck around outside for as long as I did, and I loved it.

We spent many an hour talking about our crushes and prom plans and where we saw ourself in 10 years, and with each answer a part of me broke. We are Seniors, packing up our lives in a matter of months and where we end up, not a one of us knows.

We swung on the porch for more moments than one can count, and just soaked up the relaxation. It was pure bliss.

We may or may not have sipped out of straws, because straws are more fun! Don't you agree?

and when sitting around relaxing got to be too much, we dressed up and hit the town for a few hours of fun, or just some more Orange juice from Walmart.. whatever works ya know. ;)

and we knew we'd been cooped up too long when taking the garbage and recyclables to the dump caused much excitement and we all jumped in the car willingly.

our nightly excitement consisted of reading our fave book "Kisses From Katie" if you must know, and only dreaming about actually going and being there with her in Uganda.

and maybe getting a tad excited when our braids turned into curls and feeling put together with matching shirts.

Often times still silence was all that was heard and on every floor one of us could be found reading, or looking out the window. Like something out of a movie. But it was something incredibly beautiful. and oh so peacefully relaxing.

waking up in the morning to the sun kissing your face and the view of the boats racing and the fish flopping. Like something straight out of a Nicholas Sparks movie, and yet it was real.

being able to sleep in, do what we wanted and just enjoy the peace and relaxation for a mere 6 days was pure bliss, but alas tommorow is back to reality.

maybe knowing that there's only 82 days until i leap across that stage, is a tad encouraging.

Well wishes for a great week y'all!
