"Your Presence is Heaven to me."

Never in my Wildest Dreams did I imagine, one little spot on the map essentially in the middle of nowhere playing such a HUGE part of my life forever.

Going into this summer, I was begged to come to Ambassador Camp, in little ole Lake Waccamaw. 
"Come for a week, if you hate it you can go home"

I agreed hesistantly, and words cannot describe how much just one day blessed me forever.
The Lord overwhelmed my soul with his presence
These people are so in love with Jesus
and I am so in love with the blessing that I got to be a part of this summer.
The super tiny part i played in the bigger part of the plan God has for this place.
So so blessed.

He knew just what he was doing when he placed several pleadings in my path.

And boy oh boy do I know what Im doing every summer for the rest of my life.

Just take a peek y'all, its been a while since you've seen my life through the lens. ;)

Y'all. its been a while. Holy cow. I was talking with a friend this morning about life and this waiting game of a season that the Lord has me in right now. Waiting for graduation, waiting to know what the rest of my life is going to look like, waiting on contract updates and internship approvals, waiting on interviews, Creation studies to END (forever and ever amen), leases to run out, May to arrive and my next chapter to begin. We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
