The Last One.

Wow. How is it that August 25th seems like such a far off date.
man, i don't feel differnt but i have changed so much since my 1st day of school.

I have matured, learned new things, met new people, created new goals, and focused more on my future and what it holds for me.

My favorite teacher who will be my only teacher next year! LOVE being a Senior already!

our class president, who does an outstanding job I'd say! I know she's got great things planned for next year!

and my lunch table. these crazy people hold such a special place in my heart. Every day was just a party for that 30 minutes we call lunch. Or for us it meant study hall, drama catch up, homework time, whatever we felt was needed to be done.

All of these peeps are Seniors, and sadly Michele will never get to see them except hang outs during the summer but i will be attending graduation on Saturday, which i've prepared myself for a cryfest. These girls and guy are such great people, they are going to go SO far in life and i wish the best for all of them.

and 4th period is never complete without someone being a jokester. Today in order to prevent the teacher popping his balloons, he got creative. Oh high school. So ready to be done.

So goodbye Junior year and HELLO Senior!!!!

Y'all. its been a while. Holy cow. I was talking with a friend this morning about life and this waiting game of a season that the Lord has me in right now. Waiting for graduation, waiting to know what the rest of my life is going to look like, waiting on contract updates and internship approvals, waiting on interviews, Creation studies to END (forever and ever amen), leases to run out, May to arrive and my next chapter to begin. We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
