Yes my faithful readers, i am the proud owner of my FIRST CAR!!!

Words can't come CLOSE to explaining the joy i have to tell you this. I have been wanting a car forever and for 9 months i have so desperately needed one. And now, I can say. God is faithful and he heard my prayers.

I ordered a fancy smancy license plate and got an NC State magnet. Gotta be stylin' ya know!? ;)

I just feel so spiffy whipping around town with my fancy turn signals and wiper fluid running down the windows to make sure they're super clean! ;)

but nothing is my weakness more than this little air freshener. As soon as Miss Pina Colada wares off, im back for another. Gotta be smelling good!

It's so weird having a CAR. Like for MY stuff and MY music and to get MY butt where i need to be. It's just so weird. like no asking parents for rides, {maybe gas money} but not rides.

I took these a few weeks ago, all the stickers are gone now and the license plate is my very own.

You guys, im growing up. *tear*

Thanks for all you guys prayers and help in keeping me patient for this day. When there is a will there IS a way!

Y'all. its been a while. Holy cow. I was talking with a friend this morning about life and this waiting game of a season that the Lord has me in right now. We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
