Project 365: {week twenty-five}

Wow. this week was hectic. I survived and that's the important thing.

With VBS all week during the day i did best to run errands and accomplish much needed packing for camp this upcoming week.

on Sunday after months of no talking me and one of my good friends got together and hung out. When i got home i looked at my clock and it was this late. Felt like such a party animal ;)

On Monday i spent the day at home cleaning up and such and making this cd for my car. Haven't stopped listening to it since. :)

Tuesday i ran errands and got to go and spend the evening with my princess and take her to VBS. SO sad my days with her and her family are over but i am sure i will be back soon to play.

on Wednesday we had a beach day. it was so needed and such a good time with friends.

on Thursday me and this little man went shopping. after about a million stares and im sure confused brains i got what i needed and he got a cat nap. Both of us were happy :)

on Friday i spent my mornign with this sweetheart. i took plenty of pictures but this one just gets me. he is such a doll. and quite the messy eater. lol

And yesterday i went to see my sweet friend in her musical she's been working on for so so long.

Y'all. its been a while. Holy cow. I was talking with a friend this morning about life and this waiting game of a season that the Lord has me in right now. Waiting for graduation, waiting to know what the rest of my life is going to look like, waiting on contract updates and internship approvals, waiting on interviews, Creation studies to END (forever and ever amen), leases to run out, May to arrive and my next chapter to begin. We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
