Sweetness.

Back in January i posted about my kindergarteners and my internship.

Well today i happened to stop by for a visit and just happened to be in time for their graduation program! Blessing in disguise!

I was so excited to see them so big as 1st graders now! Can't believe summer is here!






I will miss my sweet girls!

and the kids who's parents didn't come i took under my wing and in 5 minutes they were wrapped around me so tight and calling me momma.

It breaks my heart that they were so overjoyed just because i came to see them.

My sweet boy! We share the same last name so i told him technically we might be able to pass for mother and son! ;) He was ready to go right on home with me and i would've taken him!

I can not even stand to wait until the day i am able to have my sweet 1st graders and learn the ropes. I am so excited to have my own sweet kiddos and treat them like my own!

Y'all. its been a while. Holy cow. I was talking with a friend this morning about life and this waiting game of a season that the Lord has me in right now. Waiting for graduation, waiting to know what the rest of my life is going to look like, waiting on contract updates and internship approvals, waiting on interviews, Creation studies to END (forever and ever amen), leases to run out, May to arrive and my next chapter to begin. We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
