Mercy.

There are some days i look at this kid and just want to ring his neck.

but rightly so every other day of the year i want to scoop him up kiss him all over and never let him go.
Bless his heart being the baby of 4 kids, 3 being teenagers is no easy task. As spoiled rotten as he is. He also, as expected doesn't always get the 100% attention 24/7 that he would love to have. He's very independent so it works well. But when he gets attention. We get these 3 pictures.

How couldn't you just want to eat him up. Goodness i can't stop laughing long enough to chase him down. He's so precious. We've been going through alot lately and he's stuck through all of it. and for that he deserves a gold star.

And who knew that giving him two balloons and a camera would produce so much cuteness.

I love you silly little boy. Never grow up. Never stop enjoying the pure entertainment of a balloon.

Y'all. its been a while. Holy cow. I was talking with a friend this morning about life and this waiting game of a season that the Lord has me in right now. We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
