My 'lil Indian.

Today my mom went to my sweet little thing's 1st grade Pow Wow.
Her pictures were blurry because of the lighting so when he got home from school i scooped him up for some more.


I am so so thankful every day but during thanskgiving season i am extra thankful that God chose this sweet little munchkin to complete our family. I honestly can't picture a day without him being here and i don't remember a day without him.


Goodness i just want to chomp a bite out of him.


Thank you thank you thank you THANK YOU Lord for blessing me with this special gift that has changed my life forever. and thank you for this time of Thankfulness as we celebrate all that we are thankful for and that you've blessed us with.

Y'all. its been a while. Holy cow. I was talking with a friend this morning about life and this waiting game of a season that the Lord has me in right now. We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
