Sissy and Stephen.
This weekend was our annual youth trip to the Nursing home, Since my dad was working and my siblings had sports tournaments out of town i had Stephen for the day.
We woke up bright and early and after taking dad to work we headed to visit and play some Bingo.
This sweet sweet lady was so cute in asking for my help and she made sure to thank me several times. So sweet. She tried so hard to do it by herself but bless her heart she couldnt read the bigger numbers.
Stephen did SUCH a great job with his numbers and knowing which columns to look in. I was SO so proud of that sweet little fellow.
And Giordanne was so sweet in helping him as we both managed to help the two older people at our table also. Thanks for that Gio!
This lady ran in all kinds of late and when i saw her hat, immaturely i just had to giggle. Old people are so cute. All of us teenagers got a good belly roll!
I wish i would've gotten her name. She was such a doll!
And last year Me and Jordan talked to Mr. Billy FOREVER and this year i was SO happy to see him still there, i just had to get a picture!
After the nursing home we took dad some chic fil a, i put the order under his name and when they said "Order for Stephen" his face lit up like fireworks on the 4th of July. SO cute.
After taking it to dad we headed to a nicer lunch at O'Charley's to spoil my little munchkin a little.
Our sweet waitress recommended the Cotton Candy Shirley temple for us and we both LOVED it. Stephen was so cute stuffing the Cotton candy in and sneaking some in between. hehe
I think i absolutely ADORE this picture. Im thinking Black and White for his wall? He's so cute. Goodness. SO lucky to have a cute little lunch with him!
Our poor waitress barely spoke to us, im thinking she wasn't having the greatest day so we left a sweet little note to cheer her up with our tip. :)
After lunch we headed right next door to Toy's R us and i told Stephen to pick out his christmas presents and we would take pictures for Santa.
He didn't want this but he LOVES bumble bee so i told him to dress like him so i could see the resemblance.
Then i started swacking him with my Light- saber so he grabbed his shield and took cover.
He wanted these cute little transformers SO bad. However i didn't have the heart to tell him he had to wait for christmas.. poor kid.
Then i went to show him my favorite christmas gift when i was a kid. POWER WHEELS. Oh yes i was LOVING my barbie jeep. and now a days they put my barbie jeep to shame. mercy.
He didn't care to farm but he is a boy for the resque squad he is ALL about firetrucks, police cars and ambulances. He decided he wanted Santa to bring him the police car. We'll see if Santa listens.
After Toys R us we decided to drive back across town to the mall for the SECOND time to see if the breaking dawn lines had gone down enough for us to get tickets to Happy Feet TWO. And we walked right in with no lines. YAY!
Since the movie wasn't for another hour we headed to the mall and looked around. Bought some sussies and i had the brightest idea to go to Barnes and Noble to read Thanksgiving books to remind him of the real reason but before we made it that far he caught sight of this book..
He immediately asked to be read to. I happily obliged until i realize it gave away the whole movie, thank goodness he hadn't paid too much attention.
At 3:30 we walked across the parking lot to the movies {Mall and movies are connected in same parking lot} to get our seats and goodness had we waited any longer we wouldn't have gotten one.
We both LOVED the movie, Super cute!
We had a fantastic day together and i will definitely make it more of a priority from now on! I need to savor the moments i do have before i go off to college and don't get any at all!
Have a great week!!
