following grace

Fourteen years ago today my life changed forever. this little blondie brought new meaning to my life. She's so sweet and special in every way. She tests my limits but her love and mercy is neverending. She has changed so much since that little baby was placed into my arms for the first time. My name is still Sissy, but instead of a baby she is a growing teenager changing each and every day. Through the millions of moments she wants nothing to do with me, that one at 5am in the morning when she asks for my advice makes up for everything. There are many titles i adore, but Big Sister wins just about every time. She gave me the name and because of her it will stick forever. I love you Landon Kathleen! Who told her she could turn 14 this week!? She is turning into such a grown lady. It's quite sad. I remember jumping around on the cushions when we were toddlers and her knocking her tooth out. Or sitting in my moms bathroom late at night doing each others hair in a million rubber bands. And now she is always with her friends and im not cool. lol. She's 100% goofball, she loves to have a good time, she is smart. She's gonna be a wonderful woman one day. I know God has great plans for her life and no matter where life takes her, she's got HIM. It's Sunday, Sunday gotta post pics on Sunday. ;) On Sunday I got crafty with Stephen and we did an experiment that is oh so fun! On Monday, I bought my Prom ticket! eek! On Tuesday i got to wear my super cute new outfit, not often i have enough energy to wear anything other than a tshirt and jeans these days. On Wednesday we had a half day and after my friend Matt came over we went to the mall and Wilson decided he wanted to join me at Prom! ;) On Thursday i started putting together my costume for the musical this coming weekend. So excited!! On Friday we had a short day because of our PepRally and i got to eat lunch outside with my sweet little "sister" And yesterday I took my sister to get pedicures. It was a hectic week but i am so glad i finally got to relax this weekend! Ahhh <3 -Austyn :)

Sometimes i just get that teacher side of me itching to do a project or a craft or something. And last Sunday we did! :) With some food coloring, milk and detergent..Being a big sister is SO fun! -Austyn :)

Have i ever mentioned how much I LOVE pinterest. I often have no time to browse but the few minutes a week i do get to i enjoy it. I half the time wish i was skinny enough to fit into those awesome outfits and the other half i spend finding cool projects and ideas to try myself. One being putting my Ipod into a glass and letting it serve as a boombox. Fun stuff. Pinterest. You should try it! ;) -Austyn :)

Living near the beach is a dream, when you actually get to take in the attractions at the beach. One of my very very favorites is an old War site down by the water. I didn't get to go this time but my mom took lots of pictures and editing them i felt like i was there. I am a sucker for touring museums and history spots. Love it!!
