Project 365: {week ten}

Sunday= Project 365 :)

Last Sunday i spent my morning with my precious 4 year olds.
I love admiring how beautiful God has made them. They are each so beautiful/ handsome and gifted in their own way. He is the ultimate creator!

On Monday, i was craving animal crackers so i grabbed some and a coke at the store and lounged watching Army Wives for hours. :)

On Tuesday we took the ACT so we got to eat lunch outside with friends afterwards. It was a beautiful day!

On Wednesday before heading to church i admired the beatitful sunset. Despite, our many oil changing "adventures" we were dealing with.

On Thursday after asking for a month mom finally took me out to dinner at my favorite restaraunt! :)

On Friday we had a spaghetti dinner at our church for a family who recently lost their home and 3 children in a fire.
In the process of cleaning up i found a handsome prom date! ;)

And yesterday i enjoyed a fun day with friends and a nice lunch out on my first free Saturday in months!


With musical 5 hours during the week and crazy weekend plans it's been chaotic lately but i managed to survive the week. And this weekend made it all worth it! :)

Y'all. its been a while. Holy cow. I was talking with a friend this morning about life and this waiting game of a season that the Lord has me in right now. Waiting for graduation, waiting to know what the rest of my life is going to look like, waiting on contract updates and internship approvals, waiting on interviews, Creation studies to END (forever and ever amen), leases to run out, May to arrive and my next chapter to begin. We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
