Project 365: {week twelve}

Between the Lines

On Sunday I got crafty with Stephen and we did an experiment that is oh so fun!

On Monday, I bought my Prom ticket! eek!

On Tuesday i got to wear my super cute new outfit, not often i have enough energy to wear anything other than a tshirt and jeans these days.

On Wednesday we had a half day and after my friend Matt came over we went to the mall and Wilson decided he wanted to join me at Prom! ;)

On Thursday i started putting together my costume for the musical this coming weekend. So excited!!

On Friday we had a short day because of our PepRally and i got to eat lunch outside with my sweet little "sister"

And yesterday I took my sister to get pedicures.

It was a hectic week but i am so glad i finally got to relax this weekend! Ahhh <3

Y'all. its been a while. Holy cow. I was talking with a friend this morning about life and this waiting game of a season that the Lord has me in right now. Waiting for graduation, waiting to know what the rest of my life is going to look like, waiting on contract updates and internship approvals, waiting on interviews, Creation studies to END (forever and ever amen), leases to run out, May to arrive and my next chapter to begin. We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
