Circus Mcgurkus.

In our little ole town the circus isn't made out to be a HUGE production. When i heard it was in town i wanted to go SO bad, i haven't been since i was a kid and i was bummed i had to babysit. The people i was babysitting for were going and asked me to join and i knew i couldn't turn up the offer. Come on now, its the CIRCUS!
Our eyes were glued to all the silly fun attractions.





















and by the end our cotton candy faces were the cutest.

The kids were so sugarized we danced around the house for hours until we all crashed in time for their parents to come home! It was a fun day and i'm super super happy i got to go!!

Y'all. its been a while. Holy cow. I was talking with a friend this morning about life and this waiting game of a season that the Lord has me in right now. We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
