Project 365: {Week thirteen}

Between the Lines

Oh man, this week was intense. I am beyond proud of myself for even catching a second to take pictures. But alas, the week is over and now i can kick my feet up and relax. :)

On Sunday, My mom made us delicious Cuban Sandwiches! Yum!

On Monday, after a long day at school i came home and listened to Country Music as I drifted to sleep. {Love this song!}

On Tuesday, i got my full license without provisions! Woot Woot!

On Wednesday i got all my tickets together to take to church for the last day of selling. Bittersweet.

On Thursday, it was my sister's birthday and this handsome guy asked if i would date him. <3
{Excuse my crazy musical hair!}

On Friday we did our first performance for the elementary school kids and I had a lovely lunch with my Grammy! :)

And Yesterday I performed my very last musical. We had a great time and these people will stick with me always. Thanks for a great show guys!

Y'all. its been a while. Holy cow. I was talking with a friend this morning about life and this waiting game of a season that the Lord has me in right now. Waiting for graduation, waiting to know what the rest of my life is going to look like, waiting on contract updates and internship approvals, waiting on interviews, Creation studies to END (forever and ever amen), leases to run out, May to arrive and my next chapter to begin. We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
