Project 365: {week sixteen}

Between the Lines

This week/ weekend has been INSANE. It's a wonder that i even have made it to post at 9pm tonight. I was freaking out thinking i wouldn't make it for the first time ever!

On Sunday i went to the beach with my long lost best friend. It was a much needed catch up time!

On Monday i went flocking for our youth fundraiser.

Tuesday i went on an Art field trip to the museum and made this handy dandy craft! ;)

On Wednesday i made my rounds to get my Dollar Bo tea after church before a late night flocking.

Thursday the fam spent time at Ball practice as always while i was working until late.

Friday our local Relay for Life at my school started and we raised TONS of money for cancer research! Woohoo!!

And yesterday after being up all night and at the school by 6am i had the honors of giving our 1,000 cranes of Hope to a wonderful lady with an amazing story. Made my entire week!

What a crazy week!
Prom is THIS weekend {Agghhhh} and this week is CRAZY packed so i'll try to post the rest of my updates soon! :)

Y'all. its been a while. Holy cow. I was talking with a friend this morning about life and this waiting game of a season that the Lord has me in right now. Waiting for graduation, waiting to know what the rest of my life is going to look like, waiting on contract updates and internship approvals, waiting on interviews, Creation studies to END (forever and ever amen), leases to run out, May to arrive and my next chapter to begin. We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
