Off to a great start...

I have been looking foward to Spring break for forever and it is going SO well. We've visited our daddy, spent time with friends, spent time together, celebrated our Risen Lord, Been the beach more times than counted, made memories and just had fun. The last two days were spent at the beach. Before i get overwhelemed let's recap those days..

Every day i sit with some pretty awesome seniors at lunch and when they asked me and my friend Michele to join them for a beach day I knew it would be the perfect start to a great Spring Break.
We had alot of fun and made some pretty awesome memories.




all we have to do is be ourselves and its a great time.

we just enjoy being together. they're awesome people.


Then today I was going to take my sister and her friends to the beach again but my mom didn't want to miss out so we loaded up and we all went.
















It was a very fun day at the beach.

When we got home Matt came over and we all made water balloons and enjoyed the rest of our day together. Gives me an eye opener for good ole summer nights! Can't wait!!

Off to enjoy the rest of break!

Y'all. its been a while. Holy cow. I was talking with a friend this morning about life and this waiting game of a season that the Lord has me in right now. Waiting for graduation, waiting to know what the rest of my life is going to look like, waiting on contract updates and internship approvals, waiting on interviews, Creation studies to END (forever and ever amen), leases to run out, May to arrive and my next chapter to begin. We are Family.

All my brothers, sister and me.   A week after leaving my sweet family, they came to visit. Guess they missed me ;)   Their 24 hours here flew by but it was such a refresher and so nice after my first week back. And it makes the month before I see them again, not seem so crazy long.   My siblings and dad had never been to the campus, so we enjoyed touring around and even getting some fun filled hours at the Snowflex. The boys LOVED it. And I just loved them being here to do it with me for once. :)   It was the perfect family weekend.   Now back to those books..   Have a great week y'all! -Austyn

Plans for prosperity and hope..

This morning as Stephen and I listened to Bruno Mars' song "Marry you" and talked sweet talks of pure preciousness he drew my future family. As he drew me, blue as i'll ever be. and my sweet husband. and the bunk beds, treehouses and basements. the staircase leading to the sky and my huge house that really isnt needed.   he also drew two black kids. My Ethiopian babies! Oh how i dream of adopting from Ethiopia. And how precious that he drew them not even knowing i did want to adopt. Seriously, how precious are those little Ethiopian prince/ princess (s). Only two because "i dont want you to work too hard" Be still my heart.   -Austyn :)
