Chewed.

my whole life I've tried to be this perfect little church girl and tried to do everything for God's glory. But recently someone came into my life who was newly saved. As i tried to help this person i realized that temptation is sitting ALL around us and it's always been there but sometimes we do get caught up in it... actually all the time... As i started to slip and fall trying to help this person up i realized God wants us as we come... being perfect was not part of the deal..

When i found this picture online yesterday i started to think about it.. It's a wall of CHEWED gum in Seattle, WA.

the more i got to thinking i started to realize how these chewed gum pieces are treasured on this wall, and stuck there forever... The same way we as christians are sinful, and lead into temptation and God still takes us dirty, chewed up, spit out, torn up and in every condition.

No matter what we've faced or what we've done he takes us, he cleans us up with his love and lets us live for his kingdom and shine his light into the darkness of the world.

As a teenager i've come to find it especially hard to go to a public school and be involved in the lives of those around me and still be a light to the darkness, i often find myself slipping into the world. I am so thankful those times i do catch myself or even if i dont that GOD does and he wraps his arms around me and is so in love with me and shows me how to get back on track.

SO thankful for his perfect love for us unperfect christians!
