This Land was made for YOU and ME!

Wow. Can i just say how blessed i am to live in a country where we are FREE. and knowing that about 99% of my town contributes to us having Freedom makes me beam with joy. Love living in a military town!

Our 4th was pretty low key. We all slept in, our daddy was home, we grilled for lunch took a LONG afternoon of naps and then got dressed to go out and eat dinner and see the Fireworks.

We chose a favorite place of ours on the water.

the boys played the Ring toss.

the girls watched the scenery and enjoyed the calmness of it all.

and since we missed the firework show they put on a low key one for us.

Of course the sisters had to get photos. It's a must. I've trained the blondie well! ;)

so thankful for a yummy quiet dinner. and a free nation!

when we got home our neighbors were having their own little firework show so we sat outside on the porch and talked while watching all the beatiful colors come together.

I love Fireworks, incase you hadn't picked up on that! ;)

{my fav!}

laying in the grass talking and watching the fireworks..

it was perfect in every way.

Every 4th i always think back to the years prior. and while we've never done the same thing twice i think we have fun changing it up every year. But it's days like these i wish i could still live near my grammy and paw paw's house with burgers, baked beans, pie and corn hole in the backyard.

Love family!
Happy 4th!
