What are YOU pursuing? {Fuge 2012}

excuse my 10 day accidental break. I'm not gonna lie it was pretty great.
 But when 300 pictures are edited and ready you kind of have to get with the program.

On June 26th i woke up squirly early at 4am to head to camp for the week. We studied the Pursuit, hence the title. Like that don't ya!? ;)

As i packed until 1am the night before i noticed one how OCD i am, and two how much i packed that i really didn't need.
Kind of like life, we do alot of things and get alot of things that we truly don't need.

As i did my yearly backpack post while mom poured her coffee i prayed over our week and that God would mold us and bond us together as a group.

From Day one we made SO many memories.
created SO many inside jokes.

and even planked in the Walmart Parking lot. But hey, thats what memories are about right!? ;)

Our roomies we're so precious. Each morning at 6am we all rolled around until time to get ready in 5 minutes. And at night time we spent hours into the morning WAY past curfew to have heart to hearts and laugh until our bellies hurt. Precious friendships were grown and trust was developed.

Each day was a new adventure. From Ziplining..

to ropes courses...

that feeling of being free and unstoppable..

the moment when all the height fearing people gathered together in tears crying out to God to provide courage, and each of us got up there and did it. We found trust for God we never knew we had.

when our only hope to get down was Ronny boy, praying he was strong enough to stop us from going for another spin...

dropping from a platform in mid air with trembling arms and shaking legs...

hiking so high up into the mountains to reach every desitnation we needed to reach. From breakfast, worship and even to rest our heads at night..

{for grandma, that's me! ^}

using the strength we had to find to get across such a wobbly rope with wooden boards on top...

working as a team to keep cooled off and compete in the Mega Relay..

and having fun doing it..

growing and bonding as a youth group..

plotting our strategies in order to win..

and doing it all for JESUS.

While we were mistakenly not rewarded for winning, we all remaind joyous that we worked together and SO well together at that. We're a team, on a mission to serve HIM!

but i have to say my FAVORITE part of camp every year is worship.

the presence of GOD in the room with Hands raised in praise to him, singing until your voice runs out.

and our pastor, he was UH- MAY- ZING.

I am truly so thankful for such a great life changing week. Thank you Lord for the oppurtunity to grow friendships, make memories, laugh, cry and praise you for everything you've done and continue to do for us.

So after a week of Pursuit, i'm asking you.. What are YOU pursuing?
